A protect bonus improves Armor Class and is particularly granted by a protect or by a spell or magic effect that mimics a shield. Shield bonuses stack with all other bonuses to AC other than other shield bonuses. A magic protect ordinarily grants an enhancement reward to the defend's defend bonus, that has the effect of increasing the protect's ove
